KEEP ON SHINNING ADOLF!!

Senang sekali hari Minggu kemarin 17th June 07 was the first time in two months i went to Newtown.
After all that happened in my life over the last two months, finally im back in my home church NEWTOWN.

Caecil was doing her job real well as usual. She conducted the choir and also she did the responsial psalm and alleluya. ALways WELL DONE!!

Me? As normally i played the organ, but last Sunday, i added my features by playing AVE VERUM half way. Wow....!!! its such an incredible feeling when you're able to play with your heart too...and people seemed to enjoy it so much. The weather wasnt that good that day. It was a bit chilly. But they enjoyed my playing.

Anyways, on the communion, i sang a song called YOU RAISE ME UP, with my background voice on the CD. I wasnt planning to sing that song tho, but just incase i felt like singing that song, i brought my CD player and my own CD. Also, i was still coughing, and i was worried if in the middle of singing, i'd cough. Thats why, pre-recorded CD always comes in handy when needed.

Anyhow, i really took my time when singing that song...and did some more improvitations....and i liked it.
At the end of the song, Om George Wongso came up to the front to make some announcements to the congregations, but BEFORE he did his speech, he said " TERIMA KASIH BANYAK ATAS LAGU YANG BEGITU INDAH YANG TELAH DI BAWAKAN OLEH ALDO..." And quickly, the congregations responsed by giving such huge applause to me....Plus Romonya sebelum berkat penutup, sempat kasih THANKS also from mimbar.
Gosh!

I felt so honoured. Very rare a person sing solo and get that applause. Not that i expected that one, BUT, in fact that there has been some issues going on lately *lirik2 Vera and Cil* and after all that has been said and happened, PEOPLE still appreciate me and my sister sooo much, and i thank God for that...


Anyways, last note. Thanks for my immediate circle of friends....who have always been there for me. You know who im talking about. Only you guys that i trust, that i wanna know about. I dont care what happens out there, what people talk about out there, but only u guys and my family that matter to me.
